Founded on decades of technical, operational and programme-delivery experience, MARSS brings together deep understanding of mission-critical technology, C4I and tactical communications with the engineering, programme leadership and regional expertise required to turn complex requirements into operational capability.
OUR HERITAGE
From tactical and operational communications to integrated capability
MARSS was founded by Stuart Walshe following a career spanning military communications, C4ISR, systems engineering and technology leadership.
Serving with the Royal Signals, Stuart progressed through technical engineering and leadership roles before moving into specialist communications roles supporting UK Special Forces, ultimately taking responsibility for the technology services underpinning mission-critical operations worldwide.
His military experience encompassed tactical, operational and strategic communications across land, maritime and air environments, including secure networks, satellite communications, MANET mesh networks, C2 systems, sensors and surveillance technologies.
It created an understanding that continues to shape MARSS today: successful capability is not defined by individual technologies, but by how effectively people, systems and technology work together in the operational environment.

LEADERSHIP
Stuart Walshe - Founder and CEO
Stuart is a defence technology and programme-delivery leader with extensive experience across C4ISR, tactical communications, systems engineering and complex transformation programmes.
Having spent part of his childhood in Qatar, Stuart has a long-standing connection with the Gulf. His professional career subsequently took him from the Royal Signals and UK Special Forces into senior defence technology and advisory roles in the Middle East, where he has worked extensively with UAE defence organisations and international technology companies. His experience spans major military transformation programmes, NATO technology experimentation and complex C4ISR programme delivery.
He founded MARSS to combine this operational experience, technical expertise and regional understanding into a company focused on turning complex requirements into sustained operational capability.
